Immotion Studios is a brand development and communication agency that offers creative services in package design, point-of-sale communication, social marketing, photography, video production, public relations, and digital communications.



Consumer Science

Consumer Science

Consumer Science is a research and quality assurance laboratory. The laboratory reports on the quality of the products distributed under the customer’s brand. The research functions offer focus group exploratory research and primary data collection for sensory evaluations and the consumer market.

History

Herb Pease, Sr. founded and incorporated MMI in 1966. With MMI originally headquartered in Herb and wife Mary’s Fort Worth, Texas garage, Herb spent most of his time travelling across the United States personally selling private label products such as orange breakfast drink, foil, beans, and dog food to wholesalers and retailers. MMI grew significantly in the ensuing years through the innovative on-site service model and through strategic collaboration with retailers and wholesalers to build best-in-class private brand programs.

MMI Timeline

  • 1966 – Founded by Herb Pease, Sr. in Fort Worth, Texas
  • 1979 – Launched Packaging Management Program
  • 1984 – Opened the Quality Assurance department
  • 1989 – Opened the Creative Services department
  • 1990 – Created an International Division
  • 1993 – Expanded the Creative Services department with audio/video production, advertising, branding, and more
  • 1997 – The Quality Assurance team became Consumer Science, a subsidiary of MMI.
  • 2003 – Creative Department became Immotion Studios, a subsidiary of MMI.
  • 2010 – Immotion Studios became the only certified brand strategist agency in Texas.
  • 2013 – MMI Market Solutions, a subsidiary of MMI, is launched

Community

The mission of MMI’s Community Council is to connect those in need with those who care. MMICC does this by determining philanthropic priorities, implementing effective charity programs and exemplifying prudent stewardship of resources.

MMICC has been successful in providing under-privileged children with school supplies, raising funds and putting together a walking team for Susan Komen Race for the Cure, and providing children and the elderly less fortunate than us with Christmas gifts.

In addition, as part of our commitment to the community, MMI hosts multiple Carter Blood Care drives each year at our Fort Worth headquarters.
